August 27th, 2012Things are beginning to unfold as we get closer to fall. We have updated our Facebook page with detailed info about all the events happening this fall at the farm. Be sure to check the facebook page for updates and additions to the activities.
Also we are looking for crafters, artisans, demonstrators, vineyards, and anyone else who may have something they want to set up during the fall fest. If you or someone you know is interested contact neltner2@yahoo.com for more info.
Calling All Artisans, Crafters, and Vineyards
July 28th, 2012We are looking for people who would be interested in setting up a booth at our Fall Fest (details below). We are a family owned and run business that prides itself on good local food and activities. This is the 6th year now and our event keeps getting bigger. We offer pick-your-own pumpkins, music, food, petting zoo, corn maize and much more. We pass out over 1,500 detailed flyers and have over 1,300 Facebook fans that we market to for this event. We have an average of about 500 people visit our farm on a single day. We would like to add a great selection of local artisans, crafters, and vineyards for customers to buy from, and that’s where you come in.
We would like to know if you are interested in setting up a booth for any of the below dates/times:
Oct 6 – Saturday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 7 – Sunday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 13 – Saturday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 14 – Sunday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 20 – Saturday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 21 – Sunday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 27 – Saturday – 10am – 5:30pm
Oct 28 – Sunday – 10am – 5:30pm
We would like to have you loaded in before 10am. You can come as early as you want or even the day before to leave your stuff.
You will need to bring a tent (if you want one), tables and chairs. We will supply electric/water if needed.
We charge $10 a day or $15 a weekend to set up for artisans and crafters.
We charge $25 a day or $40 a weekend to set up for vineyards.
If you are interested in selling your items but can’t commit your time to be there, we can sell your items in our store at a 15% commission. We require you to set up items in the given space and make sure things are clearly marked with your name and price so we can document the items sold.

It’s been a tough but positive year.

It sure has been an interesting year. Between 100 degree days and lack of rain it has been a challenge. However we have been able to offer a fantastic line up of produce to you this year. Be sure to visit one of our markets or the farm stand for any of the freshest produce in town.

- Onions
- Peaches
- Peppers
- Squash
- Eggplant
Also be sure to check out Claire’s Kitchen Homegrown Goods. Mom has been hard at work making jams, jellies, and pickles.
It is a great way to taste summer all year long.

May 26th, 2011Well the tomatoes are turning red, the lettuce is fresh, and the cucumbers are ready for slicing. Check us out on Facebook for weekly updates and stop out to one of our locations. Check the “In Season” section of the site.

February 24th, 2011We have tomatoes that are already 6 inches high. So you know what that means, Summer and BLT’s will be just around the corner. Be sure to check us out on facebook and tell us when you think the first ripe tomato will be hanging from the vine. Who ever is the closest will get a $25 gift certificate.
The Fall Fest Begins
